Happy Easter!

Happy Easter y'all! How are you celebrating this day? My grandparents are at our place, so we're having a dinner, which i prepared with mum and little sis. It was delicious! Especially the chocolatpie, but almost everything with chocolat is yummy. ♥ Haha, i love those bunny-ears, Emmelie and i bought them for a party and we had so much fun! Too bad some bitch broke mine and they are hanging now... Well, i'm going back to being social with my family. Enjoy your evening!

I've no idea what's going on with blogger, but it drives me crazy. They changed my font and lay-out, but i can't change it back, grrrr....

My favorite quotes

If you never chase your dreams, you'll never catch them.
This quote sounds a bit dramatic but hey, what's the world without a little drama?

I'm not random or anything. It's just that sometimes, I like to dig a hole in my backyard, get inside and pretend I'm a carrot.
Haha, i love this one! It doesn't make sense at all, but come on, i believe everybody has the need sometimes to act like a carrot!

Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
This last one is my very clever advice for you (since i have so much experience of life, uhu) and it's also my bio on twitter.

KEEP CALM IS OVERRATED

Do you know those pictures with 'KEEP CALM AND ... (fill in a random subject)? Well, at first, i thought they where funny but they overdo it. I mean, there is even a Keep-Calm-o-matic now and although the invention is nice, most people don't even know how it started. So let's get back in time, to the UK during the World War II. The British Government wanted people to keep calm and carry on with their ordinary affairs, that's why they made posters with the line: 'Keep Calm and Carry On'. Nowadays, people use it for the most stupid things like 'Keep Calm and Love Justin Bieber' (bitch, please...),'Keep Calm and Call Batman' (yeah, if you can give me his number i'll definitely do it...) or 'Keep Calm and Don't Die' (wow, thanks for the advice dude!)
So when i saw this top, i had to buy it! It absolutely represents my opinion: the idea of 'Keep Calm' was good, but it's totally overrated. Or maybe you think different, let me know! x

New in | from Antwerp

Hi! Like i said in my previous post Forever21 will be happy with us as customers. I'm crazy of that shop! Their collection is so various that i always find too much to buy and feel like a lost little girl when i enter the store. Anyway, everything we bought is from Forever 21, except the wolves top (and my mom's suede jacket), which is from Pimkie. (The floral tops are actually my mom's, but luckily, they fit me too) We also went to Urban Outfitters, but it was at the end of the day so there was not much left of my dress money... They say Forever21 and Urban Outfitters are coming to the Netherlands this year and i don't know if i like that. It's easy to shop online but when they have stores in here, their clothing will lose their originality...
What about you, do you ever shop at Forever21 (or Urban Outfitters)?

Cell divisions, casseroles and clothes

Heyhey! I'm finally home and so tired from this day, i'm writing this post while i'm laying on the couch, in front of the fire. This morning, at 7 AM, mom and i where already driving to Antwerp. We first visited the University and after that, i was so overwhelmed because of all the information and it felt just like someone ran into me by bus. It's my dream to study veterinary science but after this information tour, i know it's gonna be very tough to succeed. Although it's gonna be difficult, i definitly want to try: cause there's no harm in trying, right?!
After the University, we wanted to walk around in the city but since it was freezing cold and snowing, we decided to limit ourselves to the shopping street (which is definitly not a problem). And since we were very hungry, we had a typical Belgian meal, with casserole and fries in a small restaurant: Pascalino. I'll show you my purchases another time but i think Forever21 is really happy with me as a customer... Well, i'm gonna dream about cell divisions, casseroles and clothes!  Have a good night my dears. x

What do you think of this picture with me and mom? Many people say we so much look alike!

Zutphen with my class

Today was the school trip to Zutphen and just as most school trips, the educational program was definitely boring but the rest of the day was nice! So we spent some time sightseeing a church, the Librije (an old library) and had a chamber concert but, more important: we spent the day with food, walking around in the city, shopping, laughing at sarcastic/silly jokes and, above all, the trip by bus (which is always fun). If you want to see more pictures, you should check out Leonie's blog! I have to say i'm really tired now, and since i'm going to Antwerp with my mom tomorrow, i think i'm gonna watch a movie (any suggestions?) and have an early night. Goodnight y'all! x

Antwerp: what to do?

Hello my lovely readers! Hope your day was just as lovely as mine was. Today was the first day of spring and there was finally some sunshine, after all those days, weeks and months of rainy days! And since some classes where cancelled, i had more time to spend outside in the sun with friends. In about two days, i'm going to Antwerp with my mom.We are going primarily to visit the university, but also to do some shopping and soak some culture. I've been a few times before in Antwerp and i got some really good memories there, especially from the last time, when i was there with the girls. We were spending our summer vacation in a small village near Antwerp, it was like the best summer ever! ♥ We had so much fun, were partying and laughing until our stomach hurt. But since we spent most of our time in the shopping street, i don't know all the ins and outs of the city (yet).
So my question for you: can you tell me your favorite places? I'm really curious! xx

Outfit of the Day: Schoolgirl

Blazer  Zara // Skirt  H&M // Shirt  Zara // Heels  van Haren

Hi! Just a quick outfit post today cause i'm incredibly busy and i had to go in about 10 minutes (i wrote this post in the afternoon) and now i'm really tired. Remember i asked you to cross fingers for my first fieldhockeymatch with the schoolteam yesterday? Well, the wishfull thinking has helped, we won with 7-0! I'm so proud of the girls, seems like our hard work has paid off and we are ready for the tournament.
This look is a bit inspired by the boarding-school uniforms, the school girl look.
What do you think of it?

Sisterly love

Holaaa, how was your day? Sis and i where home alone so we decided to make a nice afternoon tea with pancakes, omelet, chocolat chip cookies, chips and chocolat eggs! ♥ And the best part: sis and i didn't argue at all (which is kind of a record for us). Most of the time, we have our little, useless arguments but hey, that's where sisters are for! This huge red sweater is my mothers old student's union sweater, not very charming but perfect for hanging around in the house. But i have to hurry with my homework because today is matchday! We are playing our first fieldhockeymatch with the schoolteam tonight. It's only a practice match but still, wish me luck!

I ♥ AMSTERDAM

Hey you! Yesterday, Roos and i visited Amsterdam. We went to the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (about which i will make another post later) and walked around in the city. Except from the permanent weed smell and many tourists, the town centre is a really nice place to be. Squares, markets and alleys with little boutiques and vintage shops like Episode and Zipper! We did some shopping although i didn't bought anything because i'm going to Antwerp with my mom next week! But still, it's a perfect place to just browse some shops and enjoy the old buildings. Have you ever been in Amsterdam?
